introducing and housing them together

goregrind Jul 27, 2005 02:57 AM

I have two ball pythons and someday i plan to house them together, is there any certain way to introduce them or should i just put them in he same tank? and if i put 2 males in the same tank without a female will they fight?are they cannibalistic? is a 48Lx12Dx18H big enough for two adults? right now i have the tanks ends touching so they can see each other is that ok?

Housing two balls together is a bad idea exceptions can be made with young animals or animals that have been raised together - but throwing two adults together is a bad idea - yes - without a female males will still fight for territory and dominance.
