ARE ALLIGATORS LEGAL IN NC????????????

need to know, i believe they are because bill 1032 hasnt passed.

Alligators are quite illegal to own in NC as they are considered and endangered species in NC since thy are found in so few #'s. But you can own a nile croc to your heart's content

yeah, It is kinda funny.

You can't have an alligator legally in NC, but you can have a Saltwater Croc.

You also can't have a Racoon, but you can have a spider monkey.

limiting the number of animals you can own at a time. That's done so you don't eat too many. In Florida you can eat an alligator snapper every day of the week if you were so inclined but if you want more than one as a pet or for breeding purposes you are SOL.
