I just got my baby's today and they are so cute. Eating crickets and drinking water awesome. How many times a week should I feed and give baby food? What are the best vitamins for them? I am keeping them all in different cages so they can get a good amount of food each. I bought 4 of them and they are all from different blood line. Thanks for the help and great pic.

First let me say I am by no means an expert in this matter. In fact this is the only crestie I have, I have had it for 3 months. My litle guy through out the 3 months that I have kept him has only gained 2 grams, so In particular im no feding guru, but I have had to learn alot tbecause of this.
Since basicaly the begining Ive ben using the Crested Gecko Diet, except for the first week or two, which I fed babyfod. I fel the CGD is superior in nutritional value to baby fod without a question. However I have not goten god enough results on my crestie for me to stick to it.
From Al my experience I think the best diet which Im starting to use now is one day gut-loaded dusted crickets, one day Gargoyle Gecko Diet and kep alternating which is almost the same as the CGD but contains more protein which helps babies and juveniles grow faster. I truly feel this is gonna be the best method for fedding my crestie.
There is alot of debate over live-prey vs CGD and babyfood.
Live-prey has the benefit of more people having ben sucesful with it, and the CGD is suposed to be geneticaly enginered to give them the perfect nutritional balance. And considering that even live-prey folowers use baby food as wel as crix, Since CGD is better than baby food ,my opinion is why not give them the best of both worlds.

But do one day gut-loaded , vitamin dusted crickets, one day Gargoyle Gecko Diet and in my opinion this wil be & give the best results. I just started doing it and Im confident its gona work wel.
