i feel terrible!!!!

i tried this poor baby ball 7 times and i finnaly fin out it must be because of shedding that he wont eat....so i gave him a bath which must have stressed him more cause he really wanted out so i took him out of course...then today i think i see a tick on him and i take him out and it turns out to be a piece of dirt!!! hes havin a rough first month in my possesion! any advice? should i just wait till hes fully done shedding? to try to feed again? im so worryed about him..!!!!

If he's not losing weight...

I would turn off any unneeded lights, make his cage as private as possible (ex. cover 3 sides of a glass cage with a black plastic garbage bag leaving the top open for air. Just cut it to fit the glass), make sure it has fresh water and walk away for about a week.

If BPs act like other snakes (I'm new to BPs,) this should calm him down some. I overstressed my Everglades when I got him with my fussing and worrying. I did what I just told you and within a week he was back to eating and being happier. After a month of leaving that garbage bag for privacy he was 100% better. I now don't use it.

It's hard not to fuss but you could end up better off down the road.

Maybe someone more experienced has a better idea.
