I live in LA and down here its illegal to buy boxies of any type, but you can collect/have 4 box turtles per person in your household. We have 6 people in the house so the limit is no problem. I just can’t seem to find any, but I live in suburbia so that is no big surprise. What I s the closest state that I can go to and legally buy boxies? (Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida?)

These people are great! I bought an ornate boxie from them 2 years ago. She arrived healthy and well and still is. I also was able to visit the place several months ago. The take good care of their turtles.
