I'm not going to hibernate my eastern box this winter and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good way to keep them warm if the electricity goes out.

Well, how are you gonna keep warm if the electricity goes out?

I would think they would be ok for a few days at room temp, if'n that is at least in the 60's.

In an emergency situation; you can use a winter sportsman's disposable hand warmer. They are activated by shaking them and they don't give off any vapors. They can be purchased on clearance this time of year at either K Mart or Wal Mart in singles or you can buy a dozen. For gentle heat they last about 16 hours and cost approximately .50 each.

You can buy longer lasting ones from reptile supply houses; however they will cost somewhat more.
