You know what would be really nice -- a PH Piebald Marker Trait page.

Hey,
I could do that, but the problem is the "Trait" is not always a het, know i do know that if you get a clutch of Poss Hets most people will keep or breed the ones with the "Trait" first. I dont want people to see the guide then think every c.h. baby with the "trait" ( and you do see a bunch) is a het piebald and start selling them as such. The guide is to help people not get ripped off, not give scammers the "how too" on selling fake hets lol. If enough people ask for the "Trait" Guide i guess i can do it.
Thanks

Hypos are a good idea and ive had a lot of request for them, they may take some time since i do not own everyline and will have to rely on some others to get me pictures, but i will get on this one.

I agree. However there are so many posts asking about these marker traits that it may warrant a Hunter's Guide page.

You could also use this as a vehicle to dispell the myth.

Either way, as long as there is a note stating that the marker trait is not fact, I think this would be one of your most visited Hunter's Guide pages. (Behind the Yellow Belly page, of course.)

Hi Jon,

Great job on the guides! I'm relatively new and really enjoy and appreciate the information and all the hard work you're putting in to it.

A few morphs I'd like to have more information on are Ghosts, Axanthics and Mojaves. When you finish with that you can work on Butters, Lessers and Caramels LOL.

Thank you for the detailed info you've provided. I'm not particularly interested in breeding bp's, but I'd like to have a couple of killer morphs to enjoy as pets. (Of course, I guess many of today's breeders once said they'd never get into breeding!) I don't have much to spend on a morph and I'd like to make the wisest decision possible... as a result, your guides are invaluable!

Thanks again!

You know - when you did pastels - I thought it would be odd that you would have to tell someone what to look for in a pastel - I mean to me it's obvious. But then again I cant count how many times we've seen someone with a hi yellow animal thinking it is a pastel. Now people want to know the traits for things like ghosts and mojaves ... I don't really see a need for those - I mean to me things like that are pretty obvious - but then to me a yellowbelly is fairly obvious too. Maybe it has less to do with them wanting to know how to identify them and more to do with them wanting to see the variations. Oh well - maybe Burgs/chocolates cause there seems to be a variation on those, people have had problems with identifying Bandeds and Reduced, or hyper mels.

Keep up the good work!!!!

Hey Tosha,
I agree with you completely, when i did piebalds and ringers i couldnt believe i had to, but it acually helped people out. People have been asking me for pastels so i did it and i cant believe the response, so basically im doing this for the begginer and trying to help people get what they are paying for. I started this because of all the "questionable morphs" for sale lately and i think its helping. I still cant bring myself to do spiders though lol. I will be doing True Reduced Patterns tonight. ( the ones that usually turn out genetic with the help of Ralph). If i can get ahold of kevin i will work on womas too.
Thanks

The most obvious and yet confusing morph of all.....

Obviously, too many sellers/keepers can not tell the difference between a nice normal and a morph....Your guide could help..........doubt it, but hey...for sh!ts and giggles, it's worth a shot.......

nextworld3 Jul 27, 2005 10:10 PM

What is a normal? There is such a thing? omg i have to get one!!! lol

Thanks

You know, like what makes a normal albino different from carmel albino and what makes either of them different from lavender albino. Also what makes a paradox albino.

I already know most of the differences, but just thought it would be interesting for others.
