Keeping boas together all year around

xrayeric1993 Jul 27, 2005 08:13 PM

What is everyone's breeding experience when it comes to keeping pairs together all year long v.s. seperating them?

well, I raised a male and a female together most of their lives and they never did ANYTHING, as soon as I introduced a female that the male had never seen before he bred her immediately producing 21 healthy babies, 1 with spinal abnormalities and 16 slugs. I only put her in there because I didn't have any cage space, but I guess that was all that was needed. The other female he NEVER touched. Now, I raise them all separately. I'd keep them separate.
