Both are small teiids from Central/South America. They can probably be kept like any other small humid climate lizard. I'd guess they are insectivorous. C. lemniscatus is unisexual, not sure about the other one. Hope that helped.

BTW....C. lemniscatus is a very pretty lizard.

Can u tell me anything else and is that like for Lemniscatus or deppei?

Thanks

That info goes for both. I dont think there is really very much info as far as captive care out there, but I can give you my opinion. What would you like to know? I dont have any experience with these, so others who do may be able to help you more.

I found a caresheet on deppei (see link), which probably would correlate to lemniscatus. It answers some of you questions, but for the ones it doesnt:

can they b kept with other lizards-I would guess that they could be kept with other small lizards

what is a good size tank for it-A 20 gallon could probably hold one, but I'd go for bigger.

do u need 2 to have babies, even though its unisexual(i think u said)-Yes you still need two, but you dont have to worry about sexing.

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

OK 1 more question do u think i can keep it with 2 female crested geckos because they both r in a 20 gallon and they always miss crickets so it would b like a left over remover.

Thanks for the information anything else would b a great help like where to get another 1. im getting it probably tommorrow and i wil have to keep it in a 10(its in 1 at the pet store) until i clean my crested vivarium again.

Thanks
Big P

I'd say the 10 would be okay as a temporary enclosure, plus you would want them seperated from the cresteds in the beginning for quarantine.

I'd worry as to whether the new lizards might be too aggressive for the geckos. Although I suppose you could try it and make sure to keep a close eye on them. Personally, I dont like mixing species, but thats your choice.

As far as getting another one....I cant remember seeing one for sale before, but they are probably one of those lizards that might pop up randomly.

Also...I'd like to see pics of the new arrivals.

OK well i was reading the comunity vivaria in the mini monitor reptile mag today and its said u dont have to really worry about desease uunless the animals r used to stryle surroundung and when i got my 2 crested gecko the cage was really dirty so desease isnt a thing to worry about. I noticed that it hides alot and i have a vivaria with alot of plants so i think it will b occupied with finding a new place to hide. I think i really have to worry about is feeding time and my geckos will attack anything that moves.

Im gonna try to get some pictures up of my lizards later. Keep ur eyes out for another lemniscatus or deppei and tell me if u see 1.

Thanks for all the help

Paul
