I hatched out a few super tiger retics about 2 weeks ago, one of them still has a very small piece (maybe 1/8"
of umbilical cord sticking out. It has not gotten any smaller in a week? Help!

I've had baby common boas like that. It all eventually came off. Sometimes took as long as first shed. Then again I have never bred any large pythons so it's just an opinion but i'm sure the little one will be fine. As long as it's brittle and dried out and not growing another limb ;p
I hatched out a clutch of albino retics 5/27/05 a couple still have little belly buttons. Just keep their cages imaculate so it doesn't get infected. Don't worry about it this is completly normal and will eventually shed off.

Swab it with topical betadine. It will help in drying it out.
