Humid Hide Idea

jwr0201 Jul 16, 2003 11:32 AM

Here is an idea for humid hides that my three leo girls love. They spend about half of their time in it! The humid hide is covered by the half log. The log is high enough that the leos can clim in or just sit on the hide under the log. You can just see the blue lid of the hide. RR

I saw this pic a little further down and thought it looked pretty cool. I think I am gonna try it....

I like your gecko, look at the belly on that guy. What do you feed him, hamsters? Good idea too, Thats a very nice looking cage.

that looks like a great hiddey...what substrate are you using?

Thanks - this girl is only 5 months and finally has filled out nicely. When I got her, she was a picky eater - not now! Nice fat belly and tail! At the suggestion of Reflex some time ago, I decided to use uncoated tile as a substrate. very easy to set-up and extremely easy to keep clean. If you clean out the leo-mess every day, there is absolutely no smell at all!!! As soon as I can get my shy rainbow girl to cooperate, I'll shoot a photo of her as well.
Happy Geckos...RR
