Cold tolerant

SteveH May 17, 2003 04:42 PM

I've had my paraguay black and white for a month now and have'nt had any problems yet. I was wondering if anyone knows how cold tolerant paraguays are compared to the other tegus. Thanks,Steve

Just joking there, anyways ive heard that basicaly all tegus can handle the colder temps around the 60's for a little while, but you whould still need a place for the tegu to bask in order to digest their food. and i think in order to hibrinate they need to be at about 50 degrees for a while. dont take my word completely on that though. sorry i cant be of much help but at least i made you laugh. haha. good luck take it easy. -nick-
