Okay, so my son has an American Bullfrog (I think) that he caught in a pond when it still had a tail.

Last night (since someone at a pet store suggested that I only feed it once or twice a week), I picked up crickets for the first time. Apparently it was hungry, as it ate all 7. So my first question... how much should we be feeding this frog?

Second question: I know that some places suggest catching wild insects to feed your frog. We have a plethora of box elder bugs (which I have a personal war with), and I wanted to know if these types of bugs were dangerous to frogs. If they're not, I can feed them to this frog and serve two purposes!

Thanks in advance for the help, and pardon me, this is my first post. My name's Linda
