I bred one of my female pins to a nice orange ghost last fall. I had one other pin het ghost hatched this year, so I was looking forward to adding more.
Just for grins, I put my Superpastel with her, long after the breeding frenzy was over around here. I didn't see any action overnight so he was put away for the season. I made a note of it and that was all she wrote.
They pipped last night and I was royally bummed! Seven eggs: 3 pastel pins, two pastels, one pin and one normal.
This business/hobby can be so cruel sometimes. I shouldn't whine, but I sure hope the het normal is a female! ...
