i woke up this morning to find my snake shedding. is there anything i should do?

How often do snakes shed?

Once he has shed completely, remove the skin and examine it to make sure he didn't leave big patches behind, especially the eye scales. Snakes shed depending on how much they eat. Mine shed almost religiously every two months. My rat snake however, only shed about three times a year.
