Little dilemma

vtec Jul 28, 2005 02:56 PM

I bought my 1st leo about 4 years ago and I am a bit attached to him. I bought a baby albino leo in november under the belief that he would be a female since that's what petcopetsmart usually stocks (from what I've heard). Low and behold, the albino is a male and I now have to keep them seperated in 2 different enclosures. I was wondering if you guys think that a petstore or a breeder would accept a trade for a female adult albino for my male adult albino (tremper). I want to put together a 40gallon breeder setup with my male and maybe 3-4 females to have a little colony of leos. Any ideas?

Pet store will probably want you to throw in some cash in the trade. In general people tend to want females and not males as you can keep colonies without the fighting. i only have 4 males and @ 30 females.
