Hello! I have a Red Bellied side neck turtle, he seems totally healthy, except that he barely ever basks. The only time I ever see him basking is if it's about time for his water to be changed (like if it's starting to geet a little dirty). Besides that he seems happy to just swim around and that's it. Is this normal? He seems happy/healthy otherwise. The basking bulb isn't too hot either.

My 10 month old African sidenecked, used to bask when he was little, but never basks now.
