this is about a 3 foot blue, should be a male....just not sure...is there a way to tellon the pre-anal??

Take a pictur of it and post it here.Mabye I could tell by the picture. If I cant ,Probing is the best way.

I just don't know why everyone gets so worked up about this - sexing mature tegus is the easiest thing in the world! Males have 'spurs' just behind and beside their cloclea. Right on the sides of the bases of their tales. They are kind of difficult to SEE but really easy to feel, just get your fingers in behind its back legs - if you feel something like two little pimples..its a BOY! good luck
