looking for a good source of info... python physiology

nightserpent Jul 28, 2005 09:24 PM

Though pet books are interesting, I'd am becoming more interested in the physiology of my BP. I'd like to understand more about how their heat pits work, as well as their other senses.... and just about everything else about how they function and are designed.

Can anyone refer me to a good book or other source of information?

Try Angus Bellairs, The Life of Reptiles. It was published about 1970, so is probably somewhat dated, but I don't know anything more recent with the same breadth.

Thanks, Paul, I'll keep an eye out for a copy! The more I learn about them, the more questions I seem to have!
