Chippewa is really getting large now, he was a year old this month.
Hard to see in pic, but lately he is getting more yellow like Chia , his Mom. He is getting yellow on the sides of his neck, and a yellow thin stripe on the back of his neck.
And some yellowy splotches on the sides of his tummy !
But whats really changed in the last 2 weeks or so is his head, it is a light tan to white now, white over his eyes.
His Dads head is very dark brownish. But Moms head is light tanish. So this guy is getting some colors from both parents, as he's maturing.

Shes got a pair and I have an egyptian and a saharan. Where yours pics, never saw him
Though he is my senior lizard--I've had him for nearly ten years now. I love the way he looks like a turtle from the front, with his curved mouth that looks a little beak-like. He's cute, but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it right now.
