do older snakes have better immune systems? i know an irresponsible owner who owns an adult bp and doesnt know a thing about caring for it. he has it in a what i think is a 10-15 gallon tank, only one hide, no heat, a dirty/slimy water dish and dirty substrate and the snake is in about the same condition as minebesides being alittle dehydration and my bp is in a cage twice its lenth with clean water/substrate and all the other nessesitys but humidity. maybe humidity is more important than heat because i have carpeting and the proper heat, and he has moist repti bark and no heat

adults can be... looking for the right words... more tolerent of poor husbandry skills but I don't think that it is due to a better immune system.
