Australian Walking Sticks as feeders?

SB Jul 29, 2005 12:42 PM

Does anyone know if australian walking sticks can be used as feeders. I was recently given a bunch from a teacher friend of mine...they breed easily, but cannot be released by law. I would love to feed some to my bearded dragons, possibly some small ones to my chameleon. Any help appreciated.
thanks!

I do beleive these are good as feeders. I know various species of walking stick and leaf bugs can be used as feeders.

A lot of insectivores from Queensland Australia and Papua New Guinea eat them in their natural diet. They are the primary food source for wild Varanus auffenbergi. I think they would be a great food source for your Bearded Dragons.
