i noticed on nyworms.com that they plan to soon start selling insects known as 'trevo worms'. this is what their site says about them:
"A new and exciting live food source for your reptiles is now available!
We now have our USDA Permit to import and are shipping Trevo Worms. We believe that it is an important new food source for the reptile industry. Easily shipped and stored, and with outstanding nutritional content, it will rapidly gain in popularity as word spreads.
Our Trevo Worms are available in mixed sizes (approx. ¾" to 1 ½"
. They are approximately the length of Superworms, but are fatter and soft=bodied like Waxworms."
Here is what caught MY attention:
"*The Calcium content in these worms is more than twice that of any other known feeder insect!"
Anybody know anything else about these worms or if they would be safe for leos?? I just figured it was worth posting
