I just noticed my cornuta's Tail kind of fades into a darker shade as it tapers. I don't think its a bad shed because it transitions from light to dark. Is this normal?

i've noticed that with mine too. he also gets darker on his belly. he's been like that for a little while, i just thought it took a long time for them to shed.
.
Normal, but also not a typical captive problem that the tail skin is tough and tight and constricts. If the environment is too dry you may end up with an adult iggy with a very short proportioned tail.
