something new in Elaphe...

robyn@ProExotics Jul 29, 2005 06:43 PM

just got some of these Porphyracea latacincta, and i gotta say, they are visually smokin : )

(pic is a bit "flashy" but you get the idea : )

first captives in the country, i really look forward to working with them, if they are as easy as the Coxi have been, i will be very pleased : )

temp guns and breeding have been keeping us extremely busy, but just an update, breeding season has been good this year, coxi and mandarins both due to hatch shortly : )

That is incredibly beautiful. How about some details on their natural life? I'v never seen those before.
Hope you have huge success with those. If they work out they will be a monster hit.

Congrats, and best of luck with those. I have yet to even get Mandarins, Prasina or Coxi but I am happy with my numerous Kings, Corns, Milks and Pits. I love to see these types of snakes. Thanks for posting the pic. Tom Stevens

Good luck with them.

Hi Robyn

That animal is beautiful. I'm glad to see those are coming around. I wish you the very best so everyone would eventually have a chance to work with these beauties in the future, hehe. I'm in the same boat as Tom as I don't have any Elaphe species in my collection yet but I have strong considerations for the future. Keep us updated on how these guys do. Thanks for sharing.
