I have been breeding these for 5 years now and every year it is just as exciting. You can't beet the variability of Thayeri.
Not my best clutch ever but still nice in my opinion...
Thanks for looking,
John Lassiter
Here are the first three to emerge...All pre shed pics BTW.

And the last three. These are my 3 favorite, but I like them all.
Like the old cliches go..."I never saw a thayeri I didn't like"......and....."It is just like Christmas in the summer when these guys hatch!"
9 babies hatched from 9 eggs.

Thanks Pat.....I guess great minds think alike, eh?
The last one (#9) looks just like his father. They are from this pairing....Olive leonis female and Vivid orange milksnake phase female.
I will see you in Austin....

Very nice John. I agree, I think these three are the best looking. The first one you have pictured is my favorite. I like the silver/white ground color with the high contrast blotches. I have an Eastern Milksnake that has a simular ground color.

Thanks Steve
I really don't know which one I like best, but soon after they shed I should be able to pick one out and call it my favorite. It may not be the best looking one to another person though....
That is what makes these so fun.
I will post better pics when they shed along with a good group pic to show how awesome the variabiltiy is....
Sorta like this one I took in 2003:

I know the wait was like an eternity but now you can relax LOL. I am happy for you bro. Jealous too since I have no luck with those freakin things! Can't wait to see them in a shed or two.
