Nice photos, nice snakes. Got 0,1 B. venezuelensis as well. A remarkably calm snake by Bothrops standards - are yours the same?

Yes, they are. Outside of being vicious feeders--what Bothrops aren't really?---they're very calm on a hook. In fact, they tend to not want to let go with that prehensile tail. I use 2 hooks...one to hold them, and another to coax them off the hook, but they don't run like typical Bothrops.
