Hi,
We film crew from Korea are looking for any HL for filming project.
If somebody who is living southern california can help us out in finding HL in the wild, that will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

For the most part you have probably missed the season for finding HL's in S. CA. They are all most likely in estivation right now.

So, can I find HL in other places such as Arizona?
Or, is there some researchers who is caring desert HL somewhere?
Please give me some advice.
Choe
Most species of horned lizards are in the mid season estivation at the present time. The Coast Horned Lizards of Southern California have been "down" for about 4 weeks. All of my study sites in California have had a major decrease in activity. There will probably be no further activity until maybe late September or mid October for adults and yearlings, but that is not guaranteed. The only activity that will be occuring now will be hatchlings emerging from the nests.
If you require any further info or assistance contact me.
