Anytime I receive a new snake, I set them up and leave them alone for a good five to seven days. No feeding or handling till they've had a good week to settle in.
I can't think of any good reasons to house two snakes together unless breeding, but there are plenty of reason not to. If one of them gets sick and regurges, which snake is the sick one? And if one snake is sick, and your not sure which one, you have to treat both of them as if they're sick. Then you have the stress factor. Also food aggression during feeding. God knows Blue beauties are eating machines. Jimmy (Draybar) has a nice paragraph he post from time to time that is good reading on why not to house snakes together. He may chime in. Hope that helps.
