male Crested gecko

PHLdyPayne Jul 30, 2005 11:55 AM

Picture of the new male crested gecko I picked up last week. Not sure what he is, dark tiger perhaps. Needed a male as it looks like my two youngest crested geckos are going to be both females, giving me 4 females in my collection. Can't breed with all females. So picked up this male to breed with my two older females next year.

Nice! Great head structure and check out tbose crests! I have a few of those "dark tiger" types the molted harley pattern can be real useful in developing body color in a line.

Thanks for the comments. He was a nice find, looking much better in person than the pictures I saw. Can't wait to see what he produces with my bi-colored female, if she puts on enough weight to breed this coming winter. Right now she's around 30g and a year old.
