Rack Temps for cooling?

Herphunt22 Jul 30, 2005 06:47 PM

I realize that the breeding season is upon us again and i got a rack this year but I would like to know what temp I should keep it at to induce breeding? It stays between 90 and 87 now, should I bring it down? I really would like to get my unproven Axanthics to breed this season along with my other pairs. PLEASE HELP!!!

Quite a bit early for my end of the woods. I'm still getting eggs from the current season. Although, this year has been a bit crazy, I'll have hatchings (so far) as late as late as Nov.

Normally, I start cooling in Nov and let them drop as low as the low 70s. It normally follows weather patterns here in FL but I'm going to change all that next season with a new "controlled" building.
