I have found that if you offer numerous smaller meals every 3 to 4 days they will fatten up and grow faster.
I have also found that rat pinkies do the trick better sometimes....Each snake is different...Just like us humans.
I would not breed a calking female unless it is over 3 foot or close to 40 inches with good weight (380 to 400 grams).
It has been stated here that males that are willing to breed at any size will probably have viable sperm. I breed mine at 18 months of age if they have good size to them.
If there is a considerable size difference the female may want to make the male a meal....So watch them closely......
