i know b.dragons are not supposed to eat light bugs but what about june bugs they are litarally hundreds of em in my back yard.ive collected a bunch and i am awaiting conrermation my little girl saw them and went nuts trying to get at em. so some one let me know it they ever used june bugs before thanx

lol, yea mine ate a bee before i could stop her, but that was an accident that i won't let happen again. Wild bugs should NOT be 'collected' to feed. they carry pesticides and parasites that you and your beardie don't have to deal with.
Thanks for asking though! I bring mine outside to get sun in a mesh 'tent' so they can't eat anything harmful.

I would say no to feeding junebugs to bearded dragons. One, because they may have parasites and/or insecticides in them that can be harmful to your dragon and two, junebugs have hard tough exoskeletons that could lead to impaction problems. Best thing to do is move your collected bugs somewhere your dragon can't see them, this way she won't be trying to get at them. Dragons will pretty much eat any bug they see, whether it's good for them or not.
