I have just a quick question for you guys: has anyone ever tried putting some gatorade in a bath for your lizards before? i read somewhere that it rehydrates them the same as it does for us. i tried it on my basilisk and he loved it! he seemed rejuvenated and full of pep. is it from the gatorade i wonder? or just the fact he had a warm bath?

I know gatorade has sugar in it, so i don't know if that's a good idea...

When I had to take my female basilisk to the vet cause she was sick, the vet actually told me to give her gatorade baths :D She said they absorb the electrolytes thru thier.. uh... rear I didn't actually use gatorade, instead I got an electrolyte supplement that you can buy to put into the water. I still use the supplement now, tho in a lesser quantity than before.

The vet said the only downside of gatorade was watching what color you got so you didn't "stain" your lizard's skin lol.
