New babies!

We have our first hatchlings of the year. One has already exited the egg, another is still working at it. The other two eggs in the clutch are still intact, so we'll wait and see on those.

Very fabulous.

Wow, that was fast - mine aren't due for another 2 1/2 weeks. Congrats.

Thanks! These were from a nest in our neighbors turtle pen: theirs usually emerge from hibernation a week or two earlier than ours, and thus do everything a little earlier than ours: I'm not expecting any of the eggs our girls laid to hatch for another week or so.

So where are the pictures?

I'm working on the pictures.
5 more hatchlings have pipped in the meantime, so things are about to get pretty crazy around here.
