I have a 75 gallon tank im looking to put him in and was wandering if this was alright.

no, millets isn't really safe. Best thing to use is non adhesive shelf liner or regular washed, sifted playsand.

We have to strongly disagree.
Many breeders of lizards use millet as a substrate. It is a small, round seed and can be easily eaten and passed through. We have used millet for all our shows and some of the largest exhibitors of reptiles do the same.

You can also use milo, a round red seed - that is very nutritious just as millet.

The thing is the price! Changing the seed often can be cost prohibitive, so we reserve it for shows now. The clean smell is refreshing too.
