Few Questions that have been bugging me

How often do bearded dragons shed?

my beardie shed every few weeks when he was little now there has only been a prtial sheding of his nose in the past 3 or 4 months.

What are the signs that he isn't getting enough calcium?

He sometime doen't get much calcium because he won't eat the locusts until the dust is almost all gone i what to know what things happen when he isn't getting enough

Were could possible parsites come from?

I am always prepared to go to the vets but it would cost alot and it is a long way away so if i can cut out possible sources it would put my mind at ease.

Finally is it a known fact that beardies hate the outside? Because my beardie hates going out especially when he sees a bird i presume that would be becasue they are predetors in the desert.

Any help and info is well apreciated.

How often do bearded dragons shed? Depends, babies will shed every few weeks an adult can go months between sheds.

What are the signs that he isn't getting enough calcium? soft, rubbery bones, leg twiching/trembling. try putting calcium on his salad.

Were could possible parsites come from? his insects or improperly washed salad.

Finally is it a known fact that beardies hate the outside? Because my beardie hates going out especially when he sees a bird i presume that would be becasue they are predetors in the desert.
Beardies don't hate outside but since they spend most of their life inside it can take awhile for then to learn that there is nothing to be afraid of outside

That was really helpful thank you. As regards going out side i am trying to be persistent because we have a garden that is more or less shut off and when its summer i thought that would be good but as he was scared i stopped just incase he was always going to be afraid of going out so i didn't want to stress him up.

Thank you again

Kay
