Bobby, who was he rescued from? I'm curious if that is one of my offspring I sold to someone. Thanks-----------Mark
.
I was wondering if you were going to appear! LOL I got him from a rescue at a herp show in N.H.
They said they had another male, not as yellow that was kicking the crap out of this one so they put this one up. I guess the other one doesn't have as much yellow.
I was going to hit you up to see if you were breeding any of these???
What's up tgreb!!!
Have 3 different species now: ater, hispidus and varius. That is certainly a handsome animal. I know someone that is breeding the yellow pectinata so if interested contact me off the forum. Oh, by the way, who am I speaking with? hehe Tom Greb
"I am the Chuckwalla King!" Just messin with ya! Good to see your still around. Still messin with the cteno's. Just hatched some melanosterna and bakeri. I am looking for another female yellow pectinata, so if you know someone that has one of my offspring out there, put out the word. One of my three breeder females mysteriously died for reasons unknown, so thats why I want a female.-------------------M
Yeah I strip down nude go up on the highest rock and scream it out! HEHE. Aint seen ya in a while on the forums. Thought you might have given up. Are ya still busy as hell? Rumor had it you were downsizing considerably. That is awesome about the bakeri! Still havn't bred the varius yet but did get some good hispidus eggs this year for the first time. Maybe one of these days I will get some melanosterna from you. They are one of the best of the ctenos IMO. Awesome animals. Still got the trio od C. h. macrolopha. I may agree though with what you told me about them maybe not being macs. They seem awefully light in color. My male is almost white like a conspic or the other island one. Supposedly they originated from some city in Mexico on the mainland side around Guaymas I think. You might know if you got some from the ASDM. Still got all the garters? Tom
Nude-? Must hurt sitting down and sliding down a rock pile.
Who knows whats going on with the hemolopha's. Latest is that all the insular forms are mainland lizards planted by indians living in the gulf 5 to 10,000 years ago. Some think my conspicuosa's are really nolascenes. Oh well, I hope chuckwalla classifying is easier.
