You can make out the Blue... that snake is freak'n amazing!
i hope to get my first NE axanthic this season... where'd your male come from (what breeder?)

Beautiful snake! I as well am interested as to who you acquired it from.
Let us know if/when you breed it. I'm sure a lot of us will be interested in the hatchlings.
Thank you! The dealer was the type of guy that does high volume animals w.c. and c.b. and he had LOTS of snakes of this quality that were considered by him to be "nothing really special".
I think this snake was something he got as a trade in.
It was a bit lean from being fed the "maintenance diet".
He's fat now!
I hope to breed him and will let everyone know when I do, but it will be a while because I'm waiting for Rainer to hook me up with a smokin female!
Hey Rainer, let me know when those babies hatch out!!!
Thanks
Thanks for the compliments! I got him a few months ago at a show in New Hampshire from a dealer who's name escapes me. The snake was just out there with the other Kings as sort of an after thought! Not many people appreciate a snake of this type around here. Boas and Pythons seem to be the snake of choice in these parts.
I grabbed him as soon as I saw him. Not bad for $150.00
Hey, nice snake by the way. They had a smokin male Albino Brooksi also, but I had to be strong and only take one!
Hey Bobl. Didn't you get some New Englands from me as well? I remember picking out some brooksi that you wanted with a perfect pattern on top.
I did get one. I can't remember the sex of the Axanthic, and I have a het P.B. female. The Axanthic escaped when I moved never to be found again!
That's why Ive been after you for a super clean female/s to go with this guy.
Please let me know when the little ones hatch out.
Take care
All my New Englands lighten up and get real speckled so I don't see the pattern on top anymore. As far as the perfect pattern as babies, its something i never really took notice of before you requested it. I haven't found to many with a perfect uniform pattern on top but then again I never paid much attention to it.
New England neonate with imperfect pattern because of couple broken crossbars on top:
That one in the picture is perfect enough for me!!!
That's what I'm looking for. Thin crossbars that are as uniform as possible. A couple of breaks is fine. You snakes lighten up so much the bars will be unseen anyway!
Please let me know when you hatch out more like that.
Take care
Very nice looking male!! Can't wait for my little girl to look like that!!
