Funny Story

I took my year old dragon Homer to my local reptile store (great people) with me on my cricket and supers run. They had never seen Homer before and we're extremely impressed with his colouration. He is a beautiful orangeish gold colour. The owner asked me if it would be okay if he put Homer in the same cage as his female he keeps at the store. He said if he responded to her, or vice versa, they could mate, and I could keep one of the babies, and get a cut of the money from babies. Since I wasn't really risking anything since Homer is the male, I said yes. So he put Homer in the cage beside the female, and she started head bobbing at him and stood herself up tall (showing chest). It was wierd, cuz I've never seen females do that...but, so Homer turns and looks at her, and then just jumps at her, and gives her a monster body check. The female went flying off her perch, doing like a backwards roll. I was laughing my ass off. We took Homer out of there, and we are going to try again next week to see if they will be a little more receptive.

Just thought I'd share that story. I just keep replaying the tackle over and over and laughing.

Hahaha.

Sounds like Homer is an 'Anti-Feminest'. He was "Putting her were she belongs" as he would probably say if he could talk...

Teach that guy some manners. Haver respect for the ladies Homer!

I know eh? Oh well, the little bugger has too good of colour to pass up not breeding him, so he's gonna have to learn to like the girls.
