I am looking for a magazine that has good information about reptiles & amphibians. What do all of you think is the best?

See if your area has a herpetological society or turtle & tortoise society. Try www.anapsid.org to search for one.

There's also Reptles magazine, but there are lots of good books out there now, too. For turtles and tortoise, check out the recommended reading at www.matts-turtles.org.

I'm a huge fan of REPTILES magazine. It isn't the greatest for any one species, but it always keeps me updated on what's going on in the herp world (current events and upcoming shows), and intruduces me to different species in it's cover articles. There's also a bunch of herp'n stories and vivarium setup articles that are amusing.

Secondly I would suscribe to your local herp societies newsletter. Depending on the society it may be rather helpfull and informative, but more importantly it keeps you hooked into the local herp scene

I'll second that one, I love my Reptiles Mag. I have been a subscriber for 3 yrs and I am prepaid for the next 2!!
