hello- my son and his friends caught this guy this weekend and they were wondering what it is, aligator lizard/skink? he is the same size and shape as my schneider skinks and isnt shy towards the crickets. any help would be appericiated....thanx

Yeah it looks like a aligator lizard. Its not part of the skink family even if they do have smooth scales. A better picture would help but im preaty sure its a aligator lizard
definetly a gator lizard.their are a few different ones in the us.go to the alligator lizard forum and they should be able to tell you the exact type of gator lizard it is.
