Finally got around to pics - Saharan

neighbors Aug 01, 2005 02:09 AM

So I finally found the time to post a few pics. These are of our red Saharan "Mac". He was paralized in the rear legs and tail when we adopted him in April. He has since been healing very well with a high calcium diet and high UVB. Along with the paralization he was highly parasited (not really sure if that's a word). So we've got him healthy again and his tail use is just about back to normal. His left rear is getting stronger and is being used daily. The right leg is coming along slowly but is being used sporatically. All in all he is healing better than expected.

Wow a handsome lizard! He is awfully lucky to have found someone that both desired to help him, and knew how to do it!

Way to go! and thanks for sharing the pics!
