what are these little green treefrogs?

Norman Wehner Aug 01, 2005 08:39 AM

I found the this little green treefrog(1/2 inch) stuck to my front door last Thursday. (see linked page) Since then I have found 2 more, in my house. (that's a mystery in it self). I live in North Eastern Maryland. I have been in the same house for 12 years and have never seen these little guys before. I/m starting to wonder if they are juvenile Grey Tree Frogs. I appreciate any help.

You got it, looks to be a juvenile gray tree frog. Juveniles are often green in color as opposed to the more typical gray of adults. Occasional frogs will also remain green as adults. All are capable of changing color.
