Hey Russ, What do you feed baby tegus? Pinkies? Mealies, fruit? I have a black and white argentine and 2 red argentines, The reds are about a foot long and the black and white is about seven inches. I remember you said nix on the cat food- The reds do eat pinkies and one is partial to crickets and king mealworms and fruit- the other one isn't crazy about insects at all. Likes the pinkies and fruit though. Is there anything else I can feed? I also like to feed them everyday especially since they are so little. Love Santiagos house! Did you build it yourself? Man, I wish I had you next door to me!

Its better to feed Incects till they can take a hooper size mouse. Try gut loaded crickets and kingworms. Pinkies dont have much Calcium in them , mabye roll the pinkies in mineral all indoore . I built all of Santiago in closers. take care russ

Thanks Russ, I will certainly take your advice! After seeing Santiago, I would be a fool not to! Wish I could build beautiful enclosures, I am hoping to get my son to do this for me-He is taking carpentry at school. Thanks again and you take care too!=)
