how many feeders for a alligator snapper 3-4" is good enough to have in the tank at all times so he/shes is sure to catch

I've always used trial and error on that. some turtles are better hunters than others.when trying to put weight and size on a hatchling i usually cut a few shiners in half to make sure they are eaten.then leave several alive in the tank and see how many are gone in a day or two.
