black waterfall foam

stage9 Aug 01, 2005 04:54 PM

i want to make a natural looking vivarium, but the only thingh i can come up with to shape it with is black waterfall foam at my local nursery. it is supposed to be safe for fish, and i think i could press coco bedding on it to male it look natural.
i am wondering if anybody has used this before. will it adhere to glass, or should i make th mold so i can remove it from the tank? any feedback is helpfull!!!
-Thanks

we use and sell it all the time, beckett, it's great! the best choice you could have made.

i wouldn't use coco fiber though, go to our site and contact me, i'd be glad to share ways to make foam look real!

it will adhere to glass, skin, wood and anthing else but silicone and won't break down like "Greatstuff" will.

I have photos that i can send of how to use it, so stop by soon.
