The yellowy baby girl

PHEve Aug 02, 2005 12:20 AM

Shes very light colored, yellowy and has a different pattern I think out of the Nine kids Squashy and Kachina had, this little female will look like Mom.

She also is small I have her living with baby Kong.

Female, C. collaris Squashy and Kachinas daughter

This pic shes about to shed and looks dull, but pretty girl.
You are thnking about Chenoa, she was the one who died after laying in early spring, sad. None of the eggs made it either.

But this girl is spunky and has alot of golden yellow on her sides and legs, and a pretty light yellow under her chin/shoulder area. Greenish blue through her legs/tail and on her back when she heats up.

I think this little girl may color up like that, have to wait and see. I may keep her, because I never see any like her mom, and I would like another with those colors.

oh just keep her, she and baby kong have already become friends LOL
i was getting your lizards mixed up, it's good to hear kachina is safe and sound. i think lucia, the one i am keeping, is a little clone of gertie. not as greenish or bluish or whatever as gertie but her head and chin are dead on and gertie has black spots down the sides of her stomach that the baby has also

You may want to hang onto her til at least next season to see how she colors up. She will likely be a few shades closer to her final coloring by then. Hibernate everyone and keep her awake to get more size and color on her. She is so different from the other, she may be worth taking a look at. More than likely, all the others will look just like mom, and she won't LOL
