I remember someone on here saying they use cypress mulch as substrate; if so, is this the same cypress mulch you would find at Home Depot? Anything I need to look for on the package? And does anyone know where I could find 3cuft bags of aspen?

I get my cypress mulch at the local greenhouse down the street. They are 2 cubic foot bags, and the mulch is kinda thick, but it works and I like it.

I get 5 cubic foot bags of aspen at petsmart for my rats.
