I have my 20 month rhino whos 21 inches long STL in a 75 gallon aquarium. He is not ready to free roam yet but Im thinking of building a larger indoor enclosure. How big would the indoor enclosure have to be if he free roamed during the day?

That depends on you and your lizard. A real tame one may get by with a well cleaned 2.5 x3.5' cage, but bigger is always better. Make it as big as you can so that on those days when iggy does not get out, he does not feel like he is in jail.
